Entry Requirements: 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (with English GCSE preferred but not essential), BTEC Diploma or equivalent. For more mature students no formal qualifications required, entry is by interview.
This course will prepare students for a future in a performance specialism and will help to develop an understanding of the business of theatre, including backstage techniques, acting, dancing, musical and singing skills. You will study performance, theatre and dance, make-up, production techniques and arts administration. All of these will be taught by our experienced and enthusiastic staff in our fully working professional theatre, Artrix.
A Foundation Degree at NEW College or other Higher Education opportunities. Employment in theatre, TV, entertainment and promotional work, theatre or stage management.
