Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs at Grade D, or equivalent and an aptitude for music that could be demonstrated through performance (singing or instrumental skills), composition or relevant skills in recorded or live sound..

This course has an emphasis on music performance and composition and can lead to a BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3. The course prepares you for further training and study by developing your abilities to perform, compose and record music. The course is ideal for those who do not have the necessary entry qualifications for the Extended Diploma but who are interested in improving their musical ability and Functional Skills so they can pursue a career in the music industry.
