Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above or a Level 1 beauty qualification and a successful interview.
This course is an introduction to working in the beauty industry. It includes: health and safety, anatomy and physiology, manicure and pedicure, waxing, facial and eye treatments and client consultation. This course has a strong practical content providing opportunities to complete treatments on paying clients working in the custom built commercial salons.
To progress to a Level 3 qualification in beauty therapy or pursue a complementary therapy qualification. Career opportunities in beauty salons, large chain salons.
