2 year course based at the Redditch
Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above and a successful interview.
This course involves working towards the completion of two qualifications, a Hairdressing Diploma Level 2 and a Beauty Therapy Diploma Level 2. Units of both qualifications are completed within the first year leading to full qualifications in the second year. The hairdressing qualification includes: reception duties, client consultation, styling and dressing, basic cutting, colouring and perming. The beauty therapy qualification includes: anatomy and physiology, client care, health and safety, manicure and pedicure, waxing, facials and eye treatments. Both qualifications involve hands on practical experience within our well equipped hairdressing and beauty salons together with theory based sessions.
A Level 3 qualification in either hairdressing or beauty therapy or pursuing a complementary therapy qualification. A wide range of careers in hairdressing or beauty therapy, e.g. cruise ships, large salon chains, hair or beauty salons.
