CACHE Foundation Award

Caring for Children

1 year course based at the Redditch Campus

Entry Requirements: A satisfactory reference and CRB check.

This course provides a foundation for future work with children. Although this course does not actually qualify you to work with children it does give you the qualification to progress onto the CACHE L2 Award/ Certificate/Diploma in Child Care and Education. The course involves work on playactivities, health and safety, career options, nutrition, human growth and development. The course includes 90 hours of work experience and the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification along with an additional certificate in Emergency First Aid.

Future Options

CACHE Level 2 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Childcare and Education or NVQ 2 Childcare, Learning and Development.
