Information and Entry Requirements

You will need 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including GCSE Science and Mathematics at Grade C (or above) and English (preferably at C or above), or equivalent qualifications at the appropriate level. You will also need to attend an interview at College.

How do I Apply?

Once you have decided which A Levels to do, you can apply by doing one of the following:

A Level

Psychology

You will learn how to analyse and evaluate psychological concepts, theories and research. You will also learn how to apply this knowledge to real life issues.

You can apply to do a degree in a wide range of subjects, including Forensic Science, Business Management, Social Work and of course Psychology itself to name but a few. You can also apply for a job in the public and voluntary sectors.

By studying Psychology you will become expert at analysing and evaluating scientific concepts and theories, at gathering and interpreting research evidence and at writing effectively and concisely; you will also become an expert at working independently and critically. In the real world, including the world of work, these sorts of skills are highly valued by a wide variety of employers.
