Work Based Learning Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships

Getting paid while you learn might sound too good to be true - but as an apprentice you really do get the best of both worlds.

So if you are keen to enter the world of work but don't want to stop studying then an Apprenticeship could be the answer. They enable you to start working, earn a decent wage, all whilst learning the skills and gaining the qualifications that employers want.

In an Apprenticeship you are an employee of a company with a contract of employment, you get a weekly wage and most importantly, training.

For most apprentices this training takes the form of a day release course at college where they work towards achieving NVQs and other valuable qualifications.

Here at NEW College we not only act as a trainer to Apprentices but can also help young people secure their apprenticeship.

NEW College has a wealth of experience when it comes to finding elusive placements in a whole range of occupations including the ones listed.
